2007 has been eventful. i've had good memories &bad ones; some of which i wish never happened &some of which i regret with my whole heart. but what's done is done. and regretting is just redundant.
to you, if you know who you are: though we only msg/talk on special occasions such as birthdays or christmas &stuff, i'm still here for you as a friend if you want. it takes two hands to clap, so the choice is up to you. to another bunch of YOUs: some words are better left unspoken. in our case, ALL words would have been better left unspoken. perhaps if we cared less, whatever was left of our good relations would have remained untarnished.
on a lighter note, working at citibank was great, though very much tiring as well, with all the accounts &overtime &working on saturdays &some other problems, but having mandy, meizhen &later, gabriel &the rest as well as everybody else on the ao team made up for everything (: as i said before, i'll never forget sudoku with vanda in some mornings, lunch with some of the rest when time permits, lunch with all the temp staff, working at the citigold department, running between two floors, small 'squabbles' with alan aka beizhuang &alot of other small silly stuff (: arts camp, rag &oweek was definitely FAB. askari &ashahi! haha. made wonderful friends &memories that would probably stay with me till i'm senile (: (and even if i wore TSHIRTS most of the time in camps i did NOT get uneven tannlines. BAH.) volunteering with feiyue at cck primary was great &the children were really sweet. they were supposed to be problem kids (aka kids who had no form of anger management, were rude, etc) but kids being kids, they obviously had some form of innocence in them &prawn fishing (or prawning, as felle would argue) with them was SUPERB. (: artsopen07 was another fun event, though i got burnt (and only mostly on the shoulders, which explains uneven tannlines). but on a relatively happier note, i made great friends cos everyone was so welcoming &sweet AND DESMOND STILL OWES ME WATERMELON. MWAHAHA.

(if i missed out anyone, i'm SORRY! but this doesnt mean you're not important, it just means i'm a forgetful idiot, so you can scold the crap out of me.) you guys have been a wonderful addition in my life &i'll really not know what to do without you all (: many (MOST, in fact) have been there through my ups&downs this year, even though i only know some of you for a short while, but you guys were always there on a lookout for me. some of you dont know what goes on, but just a simple note asking if i'm okay &reminding me that you're always there always made me smile &i dont know what to say to show how much i appreciate everything that all of you have done. okay this is actually a pointless update, but since desmond asked, i shall be nice (: haha. and DES we havent met for watermelon; growls.
thursday was a day of waiting. headed to sgh with sis, didi &lembu. got lost. :( arrived early for my appointment, but ended up waiting from 3.22pm to 4plus-5 for my turn, which only took less than 5mins. went to collect my meds which had an approximate waiting time of 55mins. BAH. on a funnier note, didi wasnt very lucky that day. out of 3buses he took, 2of em stalled &broke down on him. HAHAHA.
friday. alvin &the chipmunks with xavier! (: it was damn GOOD. haha. walked around helping sis get a few presents after that before heading home to go to seletar springs for a family bbq.

FIRST of all: WELCOME HOME michhhh! the lucky lucky girl just came back from her europe tour! (:
CHING'S BIRTHDAY was a great fun. headed to minds cafe (inspiration from felle!) and played ugly doll, halli galli (they had a CHRISTMAS edition!), some cockroach game &the simpsons monopoly version. it was supposed to be used as a distraction on our stomachs cos we were going to surprise her with sakae buffet after that, but we just kept drinking &munching, so it didnt work. HAHA. we carried on with buffet after that anyway, and ate DAMN ALOT of plates. hahaha. i wanted to take pictures of the plates but they just kept clearing our plates away :( we felt tired, so we headed home after that &surprised ching with her cake before they played spongebob monoPALY till late cos ching was staying over. YAY! haha. i'm glad you enjoyed yourself this year girl (:
thursday was FUN as well. drifted in &out of sleep watching balls of fury with lembu before changing &heading out to zouk for the sim pageant. had dinner with sis&some of her exco people before meeting rah, marc, bright, xavier&alvin. bumped into so many pj people there! met colin, alex, kenneth, weisheng, junhan, darrell, celestine &lishi. (: hung out for awhile before we all decided to head to my house cos the prata places were closed due to public holiday. it was supposed to be a "call macs for supper then everyone heads home" kinda thing, but we all started watching movies &it ended up becoming a movie marathon. supposedly. xavier&alvin went home at 7am &the rest stayed over.
friday = stay home &rest/bum/nua day. i didnt get off the couch since i lay it on this morning cos i was damn shagged :( we called in kfc &bummed around watching zodiac &amityville the horror, but more than half the time i was dead beat. sorry to charissa for not going for the christmas play in the end. :( bummed around at home &did HOUSEWORK (yes, be very proud of me.) before heading to bed.
2007's finally ending. out with the old, in with the new. maybe i'll just leave it there. for now.

so close to reaching that famous happy end. almost believing this was not pretend. a part of me just doesn't wish to tread on dangerous waters again; i've had enough. only time will tell if everything is real.

BIRTHDAY: THANKYOU loves. (: my birthday was a blast. went to tanjong beach for my lovely surprise &played beach touch for almost the whole day. (:
BALI TRIP: a short summary of the trip (: more pictures when my paint decides to stop dying on me.
day1: reached a night, and went for a supper which felt more like a second dinner cos we had a FEAST of seafood, thanks to dad's indonesian friends. (: day2: took a boat to some island, where we played with HUGE turtles, owls, monkeys, bats, komodo dragons, snakes, etc. the snakes were SCARY. went for another seafood meal for lunch after that where didi insisted we stand and brave the waves. HAHA. we ended up soaked from the waist down, and we were standing quite far! =S went SHOPPING at ubud after that where didi got a girlfriend who declared her love for him. =P (THIS IS TRUE.)
day3: white water rafting! damn FUN. they tried to cheat us &wanted us to pay US$68 just to do rafting. tskk. thank goodness we did our 'research' already! wanted to go parasailing after that, but the tide was low, so we decided to go shopping instead. it was kinda scary this time, with hamsup guys hanging around &all. =S
day4: jetskiing, the flying fish thingy &banana boating. damn FUN. seriously. jet skiing was scary, cos controlling the jet ski was kinda hard, but it was super fun. we capsized the banana boat though. HAHA. and to think i thought it was mild&gentle. went for a spa after that before heading to a mall called the discovery centre. (: arcade! we played at the arcade for like. 20cents per token. after conversion that is. haha. YAY. we managed to redeem rulers with our tokens. hahaha. more shopping after that &we walked back to the hotel. we were damn shagged, but we forced ourselves to play pool cos it only cost 5000rupiah per game. HAHA.
day5: homeee sweet homee. rahlala came over! (: 1408's the scariest shit. but it was quite a good show as well. =S owells. now it just keeps raining! i miss the hot bali weather &i miss paying for things in bali dollars. :(

hehe. i can update cos i'm officially off the hiatus that i never went on! :D
highlights of yesterday: shopping with rah, mich &marcus (: lunch at vi'lage; shopping in town, chinatown &vivo. bought two dresses &a pair of shoes. YAYYY.
and. not to mention very sadly that i got attacked by a moth last night before i went to sleep. fine. maybe not attacked. it's just that it was really BIGGG and it refused to leave the room. :(
