i was reading rah's blog. and she wrote something that somewhat inspired me:
as i was complaining about the weather today, it suddenly dawned upon me that i shouldn't be complaining at all.
in fact i should THANK GOD for sunshine (:
at least in the heat, we can still go to the beach, we can still go out of the house.
what about the people in alaska? i think about how much they would want the sunshine we have here.
as i was drawing my geometry of the earth and sun, i realised that at certain times of the year, the north/south pole experiences 24 hours night and day.
so i've learnt to APPRECIATE THE SUNSHINE IN SINGAPORE and STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT IT! (:
we don't know how fortunate we are.
and she's right.
i've either been emo, angsty, cranky or whatever. i've stated that i hate uni, i hate this, i hate that, i've been through shit, etc. but i've never stopped to be grateful and thankful for what i have now or where i am today. THANKYOU heavenly father for everything you've blessed me with. (: and THANKS to rah for opening my eyes &showing me the way. (:
frisbee today was FUN.
met eugene, yanwei &brandon at the src at 8.30am. waited for awhile, but nobody else turned up. how to play frisbee with 4people in a team?! hahaha. so we left &headed to macs for breakfast. thanks to eugene for the breakfast treat! haha. (:
