for a moment i almost forgot what i did.
wednesday&thursday! out with mag (and rah sometimes) on part time job hunts up&down vivocity. haha. not very successful cos nobody called, so i think i'm more or less going to be a bum. :D
phantom of the opera on thurs. damn good! ahhh. if only i could watch it again. haha.
friday. kaiyin's birthday (: met ching, alana, huiyi, meiyi&mj at raffles mrt, before heading down to pitstop to celebrate ky's birthday. haha. the whole rogues team (minus dorcas, reina, michelle&farah) plus ben, leonard, feimao, sky, grace&two of ky's friends turned up. (: biggg big group. haha. we had dinner, and feimao wanted to try char's fake lashes, so he wore a part of them for the rest of the night. i think he even forgot he had them on! haha. char then tried to curl sky's eyelashes. =P after that, went to walk around clarke quay. had icecream (YUM), then headed home (:
saturday. jeremy&khairul's birthday (: met jeremy, char&leonard for lunch at nydc. haha. yinghan was supposed to come, but he was being a bum. =P anyway. walked around aimlessly for awhile before we all decided to split&we told yinghan not to come anymore. haha. met meiyi&mj at bugis and shopped around for awhile. had dinner with parents, sis&neighbours, then sent dad to the airport. japan! haha.
sunday. shopping with rahrah! (: bought the green shoes for my sis, then picked up my wallet. i've got my eye on this chaos skirt. =P we hung around for awhile, then got bored cos we both went shopping the day before, so we decided to head home instead. we'll try again next time girl! (: haha.
monday-today. been having jap classes. urggh. i've got homework and tingxie/dictation EVERYDAY. it's killing me. goodness. i just want to learn how to speak it. not write. i cant even handle chinese! how am i supposed to handle jap?!
(and yes. detour. i got my supposedly teal monkey file from borders. (: chryz&i got it. haha. we both had our eye on it since like. monday! haha. how exciting. too bad they didnt have the cat one&the nicely spotted one was rather cardboardish.)
anyway. my teacher pulled out this picture of some jap guy&some jap band on wed&she asked me who they were.
teacher (pulls out picture of jap guy): anohito wa nan desu ka. (who is that person? -or something like that)
rest of the class: OH! (plus some squealing over him; minus the only guy in class of course)
me: WHO IS THAT?!
the same thing happened for the jap band. apparently. i was the only one in class who doesnt follow these jap people or really watch those jap episode stuffies. hahaha. goodness. no wonder some of them can rattle off random jap words and everyone would nod knowingly, leaving me lost in my own world.
and. we played bingo in japanese! revised bingo anyway. damn hard, cos we always had to stare at the paper and think of how to say the numbers in jap. =S but at least we did something i knew, rather than those jap guys&jap bands.
more jap class tmr&the next week&the week after next&so on until the end of may. not sure if i'll be continuing the next basic class! maybe not. haha. HELP. it's like school all over again. :(
